Up till 5am for the second night in a row.
Work seems all hazy and thick. Hopefully the soy latte i'm sipping will kick my ass into gear.
Saw the Coachwhips last night at the Eagle Tavern. The Eagle is a Leather daddy biker bar in the SOMA district. It's really funny to see all kinds of styled out indie rock mission kids in a bar along side the big burly bears and leather cowboys. I've always hated mopey, shoegazers at a rock show. So I was so happy when the whole crowd got moving to the Coachwhips. The dance frenzy was refreshing. Getting sweaty with a bunch of friends as well as strangers is so energizing. After the show I went on a pretty aimless walk with my friend. We made mischief, got malicous, and played the part of vandals all while drinking from brown bags. We decided to repeat this ritual at least once a week. Looks like i got a new partner in crime. Looks like this summer is going to be a smashing success.
