Who remembers Slant6 how about Autoclave?
I went to Bottom of the Hill last night and saw Quix*o*tic.
I left a happy boy.
Dark beats, with a gloomy feel, fantastic druming and awesome vocals. It was part monster movie rock sped up, part blues based rock, and part garage rock with excellent harmony. Throw in a cover of Black Sabbath's "lord of this world" and like I said I left a happy boy.
ps. Deerhoof and Good for Cows were nice too.
