this afternoon i ran into a friend of mine.
i alway run into people i know in this small city of mine. but this was very different. I pulled my bike over onto the sidewalk because i had seen these firetucks pulled over. in my experience fire trucks mean bike vs. auto whenever you can't see any visable flames. so, i stopped because i wanted to see if i could lend some support to some one on a bike. cuz sometimes motorists can be really unsympathitic to the poor saps they just about flattened.
so anyways. i pull over and realize that the poor sap that was just about flattened was my friend L. Well, this is funny only because the last time i randomly ran into L. she was also the poor unfortunate who was ran off the road by some wanker in his auto. After giving her the appropriate amount of shit for trying to get under the wheel of every tom, dick and harry in an auto. I bought her a burrito, rented her a movie and walked her home. It was a funny way to run into someone. (no pun intended) A nice unexpected surprise. i like those.
