Long time, no typing! Of course typing is a little difficult since I tried to chop off my finger with a pair of scissors last weekend, and then slammed it in a door at work the next day. >.< I should not be left alone with sharp objects. Thankfully it's healing very nicely and the biggest annoyance with typing is the band aid.
So I've pretty much decided that studying for finals is over rated. Last semester I studied my ass off and of course made great grades, this semester I've studied less and still have been making great greats. Apparently there is no reason to know stuff that I won't be tested on, and being an over achiever is exhausting. I'm going to study of course, I'm just not going to make a huge deal out of it, I'm tired enough already.
Thank you every one for your concern about my back! My chiropractor said that most of my pain is caused by bad posture, so shoulders back and head up! Do you know how hard that is when I spend most of day taking notes, reading and being on the computer? Not to mention knitting, sewing and cleaning up dog crap at work. If I spend my whole day on horseback it would be no problem. Unfortunately that's not an option. So lah de dah. I have to go back to doing my neck exercises..hanging from a thing on the door and laying on my bed, on my back with my head hanging over the side. Major head rush when i sit up. I also just have to watch my posture with every thing I do which is annoying.but if makes me better I guess I just have to find new ways of doing things.
In other news I have been tired as crap and just don't want to do ANYTHING. Of course I've been going to school and volunteering at Heads Up (twice this week) but I haven't really been doing much at the barn and work? You would think a job that was only on the weekends wouldn't be so bad, but $30 a day isn't enough to be cleaning dog kennels and litter boxes for almost 5 hours.
Wow I complain a lot huh? So for something to end on a good note with, last weekend my fiance came up to see me and we had a great dinner at The Mash House. Grilled salmon and crab cake for me and Steak for him. Yum yum!
