Austin. The Hotel San Jose'. Roller Derby. The Flametrick Subs. BadCop. Fun was had by all.

BadCop will tell you that he is no good, but it's simply not true. He is the nicest, sweetest man with a gun you will ever meet. wink And he has a killer mischievous smile.

I loved Austin. Especially the trendy shops along Congress Avenue. If I ever move to Austin, this is where I would live - in a tiny apartment that's the size of my current closet. Because that is what we do to live in cities we love. And then I will become a devoted Holy Roller fan.

I did take several pictures, only not with my digital camera because it hasn't been cooperating lately. For some strange reason, I did end up with a long line of strange photos such as this one which I believe is the inside of my purse or maybe the glass beside the bed or the inside of the alien ship that picked us up after the Flametrick show and wiped out most of my memory from the wee hours of the morning until about 10 AM the next day.

And finally, this was taken at the airport - somewhere.

My loss of memory regarding which airpoprt has nothing to do with space monkeys. Only that I switched planes and endured so many "short stops" on this trip that it was the first time ever that I truly was tempted to start up a conversation with the guy in the next row over on my last plane home because I got incredibly bored. So, it's possible, you see. My boredom in a crowd, that is.

Hey, the San Jose is right down the street from my place! That's a cool hotel. Before I moved here, I used to stay at the Austin Motel. Quirky and cool, but not at chic as the SJ. Glad you had a good time. As far as the skirt goes, I've had reservations in hell since my days in catholic school.
