my fantasy is to mysetriously disappear (by choice) on some simple tropical island where i can laze around my beach house half naked eating mango, drinking tea with mint, reading and writing and socializing with people who know nothing of my current life.

I never got that whole TX OK rivalry thing. I went to UT and I get the whole football rivalry thing. Even then, it's a pet peeve of mine that anyone who lives their life vicariously through the accoplishments of others (especially if it's people playing a GAME) is pretty pathetic. Outside of that I think of it as more of TX vs the rest of the world. And then, it should be Austin vs the rest of Texas because Austin has a VERY differant personality than the rest of TX.
I've actually gotten out of racing. It was getting to be more work than fun and I didn't have the time for it. I'm constantly tempted to go back though. My favorite class was Unlimited Twins, so a Duck would have been great, but I can't afford to throw away $15,000 when I have a bad wreck.
What kind of writing do you do? Do you have anything published or something I could check out? There's a little music review publication in Austin I write something for from time to time. If you're ever down here, they'll get ya into shows free if you write an article for em.
I had considered moving to Austin at one point - years ago. But I've never been there.
What do I write? How about I post a sample in my next journal entry?
