So this is me:
I feel different. I look different. For what it's worth... Through all of this, I am different.
Sometimes you just know... This doesn't make it any less scary to admit to oneself, nor does it make it any easier to say out loud or to make it concrete.
My soft places are so very far away right now... Spread all across the country and strange spots around the globe. But they are there, and I am reminded of them whenever I almost forget. Right now I need them.
And I miss this place more than I ever thought I would:
I think about my friends and how we would spend our free time a lot:
And as I'm writing this I get a message from my mum:
And suddenly I'm so happy I could cry...

Or something is funky. Sigh. Is your old number working? Most confusing!
This is the part where I ask if you could please feed Sammy and give him cuddles tomorrow night for me? I'd be most grateful if you did.
I might be home early (ie: before the sun rises on Friday, depending how cold it is up there. Sleep will be uncomfortable, I imagine!
