I gotta comment more - people will think I'm just a lurker. Although, it's not my style to write stuff about myself because I have trouble thinking of things that other people would find interesting which is probably why making small talk is challenging for me. There are some people who seem to need to make any effort to start a conversation and keep it going - is it because they really have all this stuff they want to say and it just bubbles out whenever someone is around? My conversation starters seem to be to be some odd little fact or thing I've seen in the news, FB or InterWeb and bring it up hoping the person to whom I'm speaking will find it interesting too. Hopefully I'm not like Dr. Sheldon Cooper of the Big Bang Theory who doesn't care whether the other person has any interest as well.
