I'm depressed. I knew my state was a lost cause, but why does the rest of the nation have to suck? I don't just mean the presidential race. Banning gay marriage? Five more Republican Texas Congressmen? How can one privileged Yale grad get so many votes and another so few?

I can't watch the news anymore. I'm sitting here watching G4Tech TV and hitting refresh on Yahoo's electoral vote map every ten seconds.

I really need a hug.

On the upside Morgan Webb is oddly arousing when she hits things with a pointer and talks in a faux German accent.

Just for the record, I want to be able to wake up tomorrow and burn an American flag to light up a joint which I'm smoking because I'm nervous about my wedding to all five of my boyfriends later that day. Not because I think I would do any of those things, I just want to have the right to. And even in the world where Kerry wins, it wouldn't happen. I think it just hit me how much I lost before I even got up in the morning.
