Way too busy at work this week...but I get the weekend off! This is really weird. I haven't had weekends off for a long time. I love office work.
An unholy alliance was struck today. The plan for tonight is to go to the new Harry Potter movie then to get blind stinking drunk at a strip club afterwards. That makes perfect sense, doesn't it? (That's the last time I give DJA veto powers.)
I posted this in the Buffy group, but I think it's funny. Remember that conservative news letter I mentioned? In the same news letter as "Liberals miss entire point, details at eleven" is this: Buffy and the Battle Against Evil. At first I thought he was going to bitch about those philosophy classes strucutred around the Whedonverse, but no. It's an ultra conservative extolling Buffy and Angel, as well as their cultural signifigence. All right, he kind of implies that the Angel finale is a tacit endorsement of the war in Iraq (yowie), but it's really positive. I find this to be one of the most amusing and disturbing things ever.
One more story update. Oh, first, thanks for the comments and promises to slog through it. Rock on.
This was a bit scary. I started to tell my brother about the story. As I said before, I based elements of Alex off of him, and I didn't know how he would take it. He treasures his privacy. The good news is that he didn't seem to object. On the other hand, I didn't tell him it was on the net. Oops.
Well, I'm trying to evolve the character past him, but he really is a perfect, moody superhero archetype. Who knew I lived with Batman for ten years?
But now the great news. His offered to ink it! He's notoriously fickle, but if he gets it into his head to do something, he goes all out. (Someday I'll get a photo of his beanie baby collection set up next to his guns. Yowza.) Unfortunately, I can't draw worth a damn. If I can impress him with the stick figure story board, then maybe I can hook him into drawing the whole thing.
Which leads me somewhere else...I'm thinking about thinking of making TKWNDP into a webcomic. Unfortuantely, I have no idea how to do this. I'll have to mess with the format quite a bit, and I'll defintely need to get my bro heavily involved. It could be worth it, though. A webcomic not about a furry college student working at a computer company? It could be a hit.

And I think u actually have a very full vocabulary. I've noticed it before.
