Thank you everyone for the Birthday wishes!
I don't like to make a big deal of my birthday (in real life) and I worked the next morning, so I just chilled in general.
There was cake. I'm old. The flames from the candles singed my eyebrows. I look forward to these death squads I was promised.
I got some neat stuff! Dollhouse, Middleman, some books, and a HD for my Tivo! 120 hours of HD baby!
I hung with the lovely faery_kalina the other day and we saw Inglorious Basterds. It was really good. Definitely more in the Pulp Fiction vein than his films have been for a while. I thought it was more like a grindhouse espionage film than the grindhouse spaghetti western. That's not a knock. It was very suspenseful.
I want to do a Rockband night soon, but I still have to survive Labor Day. Blah.
Family stuff is ongoing. Blah.
