So, i'm not exactly the type of person to 'blog', or at least I don't do it. I hold a lot inside and don't actually talk all that much about, well, me. Either good or bad.
But as everyone does, with the new year I decided to change things up a bit. Open up more, in a manner of speaking.
People would say that i'm a bit quiet lately, I wouldn't say that it's because i'm ignoring them or because I'm upset or anything of the sort. It's simply because I have a lot on my plate.
I've recently moved houses, which is a stressful task as all will understand. This weekend for me will all go towards cleaning the old house to make sure the owners are satisfied and I can get my money back. As last weekend all went towards moving my stuff from that house to this one.
I got the internet connected at the new place today, so i'm very happy about that. We seem to be settling in nicely here so far.
As mentioned, I decided to change things up for myself recently. I was broken up with, what I would call recently. I would like to point out that it's not that I did anything wrong, quite the contrary, but I was a bit stupid and held on till the very end even though I had been betrayed. I kept in contact with her afterwards, because I had hoped for a little that things would go back, which i'm glad now they didn't, also we had a lot of stuff to organise after the dust had settled. Well, she continued to treat me... Not nicely, so one day I told her to leave and never talk to me again, oddly this was a bold move for me, but once more, i'm glad I did it. I say oddly because i'm often a brutally honest person. Well! To get back on track, she was feeding me some more of her bullsh*t on the very first day of this year and some time after and I stayed true to my new years promised and removed that from my life.
Because I was so successful in doing this, I decided to take it further. I think a lot of my true self was suppressed in my time with my ex, now i'm starting to try to let it out again and be the person I was before. So here we are, writting lots, to open up. Who knows, perhaps I might say something, someone can relate to.
I enjoy talking, I really do. I can (as you can see) turn something so small into a large pile of text.
Also to add onto recent events and changes, i've become some what money concious lately, more so than usual and i'm trying to change things in my life in order to save as much money as I can, for what i'm unsure, but it's always nice to have more money.. So I bought a ninja 300 (spending money to save money, I realise how silly that sounds), with my recent move, I am closer to work, I would usually spend almost $100 filling my car for the week at my old location. Motorbike + new location = $10 a week. Yup, that's right.
Looking at changing my phone plan to half what I currently spend. So more money saved.
Who knows, I might take some time off work for the first time ever and go on holiday..
Well, I best not rant on for too long, which I can tell I have, so TL:DR..
But, I would be interested to hear in any similar stories people have, if that's a thing and i'd be happy to converse.
