I was disappointed when they changed George Jefferson from the original George on All in the Family.

One of the most pleasant people I met at a club for celebrities I used to work at in the 80s was Franklin Cover, who played Mr. Willis on the Jeffersons.

He used to come to the club for lunch with his daughter pretty often. He wasn't snobbish or snooty. He acted like a regular person and was always pleasant and nice to me and the other employees.
