First things first... send all the love you can muster to my girl SweetAvenue. Trust me, she needs it a whole lot more than any of us do right about now.

Ok...
New job is crazy but interesting. Lots to do and of course no time to do it. The benfits list is off the charts, but today came one I didn't expect -- they will pay me to be certific in Spanish as a second language through Instituto de Cervantes. Reaosn? Latin America is an emerging market, and I'm the only one with any cultural compatency in that arena (thanks Dad!). Next up is Portugese. I am over the moon about this unexpected side benefit.

This of course means business travel to most of Latin America, and to Spain. Porn kids, I have had dreams of vast sunflower fields and Gaudi churches since I was a wee one in the ghetto...

This reversal of fortune in my career, in comparison from the last two years, is almost too much. Trust me, I'm going to work hard for everything, so I know it's not too good to be true (there is a LOT that needs to be organized so I know I'm staring down long workdays this Winter).
