Well, I've always had a weakness for animals. So if I were to run a business I'd want to run a low cost ALL ANIMAL veterinarian/boarding office. I work with rescues, and donate like a mad woman to animal care, animal rescues, and really anything animal related. It'd be really great to personally have a business to help people that can't afford the care their pets need or just offer them a safe place to keep their animals while they're away.
I used to be the person that got mad at people that would give up their pets because they couldn't afford the expensive care but as I got older and stepped into the real world to discover that sometimes SHIT HAPPENS, shit we can't control, and when it does, sometimes we become financially screwed, I stopped getting mad and started defending them because atleast they are attempting to find a home and not dumping/killing the animal.
I'd want to be able to do all vet/vet hospital care necessary for the common pet AND exotic pets. As an exotic pet owner, I've come to find that the vets where I am aren't so familiar with the exotics, and finding a specialty vet isn't easy here. Also, I'd want the boarding section to be like a pet hotel, not a kennel. Have it with a homey feeling for the pets, so they're more comfy in their surroundings. And include "extended boarding" where we will keep the pet permanently or until a new home is found.
Big dreams are better than no dreams.
