So, lately a few of my fellow SGs and SGHs have posted on various social media about photographer fails.
I've read about them refusing to give the photos unless they receive sexual "compensation" etc. I do realize that some girls do this as a way of payment, and by all means, that's their choice. However, I don't agree with it, nor do I want it offered as a payment method just because I signed up for the SG/model life. I am doing this because I have a body type that I rarely see promoted (btw, I love all body types, I'm a personality girl) and a personality of a geeky weirdo. There are so many people out there that are so amazing and don't get recognized for it because they are too skinny, too fat, too blotchy, too moley, have too many pimples and so on... And there's that good ole stereotype that, "oh, she poses nude, that means she'll have sex with me for a photo shoot." WRONG!! I won't, and neither will many of the girls doing modeling. So, unless that person states that they are up for a sexual payment, DONT ASK and definitely don't force it! Have a bit of respect for the model, and this goes for photographers as well(when the model tries to pay that way and photographer is uncomfortable). its a complicated thing, I understand that not everyone gets that posing nude or photographing nudes does not mean you are a sex fiend or that you want to sleep with everyone, but unless you know 100% that both parties want that, shut up and work.
