Yesterday I found out that my family was making their yearly trek to Ohio to see me tomorrow. I am frustrated they are coming during the week, when i have to work, and i only had a day to parent proof my home, and hide anything i don't want them to see.
i cleanned a ton, and my house is damn clean by my standards but a fucking mess by parent standarsds. how can having some people visit create so muych stress? and why do i feel i have to live up to their standards??
