Whoo hoo! Happy Halloween Everyone! I can't believe I am up so early... I stayed out until I don't know when last night. Guess what I did!
I went to the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Beach Theatre on Corey Avenue... With a live cast! I have wanted to go FOREVER.... And finally did! It was awesome!
For those of you who have never been, do NOT let on that you haven't (like I unknowingly did). You are then dubbed a "virgin" and stricken with a black permanent marker "V" on your face to let everyone know. Then, before the show starts, all of the virgins are called to the front, at which time they are publicly humiliated in front of the entire theatre, as I was.
Anyways, it was great. If you don't bring your own, they offer "prop bags" which contain items such as rice, toast, and a rubber glove to be used at appropriate times throughout the movie.
The cast, part of a local acting group called Interchangable Parts was awesome. They used a LOT of audience interaction, were completely shameless and obscene, and made it one hell of a raunchy good time!!!
I guess it plays every Saturday at midnight-ish, but they are stopping for the holidays. I think I may have found my new Saturday night hang out! Ha ha...
Anyways, so check out my new pics... I dressed up super sexy for the show, corset and all. I blended in there, but anywhere else I was looked at like something else. No matter, I looked hot, and that's all I have to say about that!
