So I have this puppy, right. A 100% pure-bred, AKC registered, North American Dirt Hound. Mom was a Lab, Dad was a Pit and somewhere in this family tree there's either a Beagle or an English Foxhound 'cause this is a tri-color dog here. But puppy has been incredibly sick. She threw up ALL night Sunday night, and I took her to the vet 'cause she wasn't eating or able to keep any fluids down. She had lost a pound in the last week, which is kind of a lot when you only weigh 8 pounds to begin with. But the puppy has been layed up since Sunday all messed up and on death's doorstep. But today when I came home, she greeted me at the door. And while she doesn't look like she's all the way back to normal, I'll take it, be happy, and say Thank you, may I have another. It's really cool to see her up and about.
