new use for SG journal: workout diary
Saturday, March 5th:
Work: Back, Lats, Biceps,Rear Delts and abs. 2 mi Indian sprints at a 1/6 mile a leg
Details: Gym part sucked. No energy, felt lame. Still sore. Not feeling strong/not feeling it. Did the time, made the rounds, then left the bldg. Went on Run. Wanted to quit and just go home half way through the first sprint. Felt it was stupid. Almost quit after the second sprint, but took them one at a time after that and did all 6. Sun was hot. (3pm)
Sunday, March 6th:
Work: Chest, Tris, Medial and Front delts, abs, 2 mi. bridge run.
Details: Felt super-strong today, did some fairly decent damage. First feeling of true optimism inside gym since starting back. The Run started slow and lame for the first half mile, but after that it was good. Ran the last ascension up the bridge at the fastest clip yet, and maintained it back down the bridge and back to gym.
Originally I was going to put a photo here of a guy named Dorian Yates who's just a FrEaK in the gym, but instead I found a rather funny one of two weight lifting guys shaking hands but still managing to find time to flex for the cameras, rather nonchalantly. I think this is funny.
