New Books: Readings in Latin American History Vol I: to 1810 by Lewis Hanke, Exile and the Kingdom by Albert Camus and Utilitarianism by little Johnnie S. Mill. (wanted to finish this one before going on to Bentham's much longer Intro to the Principles of yadda yadda hoggenstein)
Took my mom to see The Motorcycle Diaries today. That did her good, I think. I've told her about my desire to go to Brazil for an extended stay... and I think somehow she tied the movie to that, and now believes it'd be a good thing - a life-changing event or something. Which is kind of funny - seeing as how it's about Che - and seeing that he was hunted by the CIA for years before being assasinated in Boliva. Is that the change you're looking for ma? Just trips me out is all. Nothing could change me anyway. I'm a rock, and easily three, maybe four times as smart.
Word. I'm off to sit on the couch and look at words.
peace,
