Okay okay, no more posts about my penis (for a while, at least...)
Starting the year off strong, with a possible commission for a local band's shirt design. nothing concrete yet, but I've got so many ideas, so I'm pretty optimistic about one of them getting picked. I also started up a new tumblr for my art until the site is running and populated. you can find semi regular updates at mytumblr
Since the rather stressful breakup, I'm making the choice to simply plow into work and try my best to move on. That's all I really have to say on the subject for now.
I got a glimmer of hope from my xmas job about staying on too. the area manager is deciding my fate right now. I'm optimistic about my chances, given the amount of overtime I gave and going beyond the call of duty for the place. Here's hoping
I worked nearly solid for the last few months, so no new films or much music to report, aside from a new interest in Tool. They surprised me. I was expecting a growling low pitched rumbler of a band, but instead was presented with an amazing collection of talented musicians collaborating to make some very intriguing noise. And seeing how they fit into the universe of music I listen to (Perfect Circle, NIN, HTDA), I should really have noticed them sooner.
I recently robbed some Pratchett books from my pubs' library, so I've got a wee bit to read on my journeys. Its taken me some time, since getting interested in his work after the TV movie Hogfather, but 'm glad I did.
Running off to draw some stuff now. I'll try not to update so damn often (blame the last few on lack of sleep, illness and alcohol!), i hope you all have a lovely time doing what you do best !
