Soooooooo...
Yup. Still job less. But now fully moved in and settled down, so I can finally begin working on designs and comics without fear of losing/destroying the work. Aside from a dog that insists on spazzing out every time I enter the house, its bliss here. Not as many police sirens and screaming children (surprising for a sprawling estate), and with the woods at the back of the place I can go for challenging and more visually pleasant runs. Riverside was nice, but I love running through the trees and brush like freely (not in a silly "Twilight" kind of way).
Elsewhere in life, erm, nothing for a change. My best friend moves with her boyfriend to Cardiff soon, I can't honestly say I'm happy about it, but I am glad she's achieving something and growing up alittle.
This years' E3 conference bought alot of joy to me, in the form of new Portal 2 footage and art, news on Goldeneye remake on the Wii, and finally some details on the 3DS. Nintendo really took it this year for me, whereas Microsoft's Project Natal (Kinect) underwealmed me to the point of boredom, and the PS3 was banking on big name brands such as the long awaited Gran Turismo 5 and sequels to Infamous and the Killzone franchise, without any real new IPs to speak of.
Book wise, I'm reading the Dexter books now, alittle late, but the option came up, so I took it. Also re reading China Meiville's The Scar, and The City in the City, since I burned through them last time and didn't take the time to really absorb much of what was going on.
Okay, I'm done writing for today. See you next time.
