Merry Christmas to everyone!!! know im a little early but i have to say texting, blogging and messaging is not a strong point of mine! i hope everyone has done all their shopping and is spreading the festive spirit around!
The words have been thrown around... is Jesus really the reason for the season??? No.. i dont think so. I was born and raised in a very religious christian family. Safe to say, my family doesn't know about half my life and am hoping to have it stay that way. What does Christmas mean to you?? is it the tree? the holiday from work, the presents, the time to get shit faced with your family?? I hope you can at least answer yes to one of those. Christmas to me is the holiday. Nothing more. I wanted or tried to get involved but im so different to the rest of my family that it is just such a chore. Last year i ended up sleeping for half the day recovering from the night before. I know, my mum probably prayed like crazy for my sins.... god!!! I will probably regret this cider beer filled blog in about 5 hours but until then im going to keep bitching. I hope there is a way to delete blogs as im still a newbie and still learning the SG ropes!
Im feeling quite lonely this year. The first year in about 5 years where i haven't had a significant other. One of my closest friends has moved interstate and my roomy has gone back to the U.S.A to see his family. So im all alone in this beautiful city wondering what to do. I know im probably just having the blues but this time of year does freak me out. I know ill be ok. I just hate this time of year. AND i guess i hope that at least 90% of the world is enjoying themselves to make up for us 10% (percentages are not fact, and have no real evidence or facts to support) who loathe this time of year. To the 90% - MERRY CHRISTMAS and i hope your cheerfulness rubs off!!! To the other 10%, have a safe and relaxing break. I feel your pain!
