Just because I'm upset, doesn't mean it's a tragedy or something catastrophic. It just means I'm upset and, often, it's my own doing; seeing someone younger than yourself often means you are forced to play by rules of an era you, yourself have left behind. Compromise often means consideration you thought you'd never have to extend coupled with requests you thought you'd never have to make. That might sound ambiguous but take it to mean things are fine, reassurances expressed privately, indignity averted, humble pie served and life resumes much the same. Thank all of you awesome friends for your concern; it really makes me feel a sense of belonging to have you all voice your words of comfort and curiosity.
