Yesterday was just one of those days. My pride obstructed my fulfillment. My vanity dictated my insecurity. I was burdened by my directionlessness which in some absurd way constrained my ability to enjoy myself even when seemingly uninhibited.
Yesterday I felt left out. Excluded from the pack, I wallowed in my overwhelming contempt until I had come to a realization. People are just people. They're fallible, imperfect, often irrational and occasionally inconsiderate. Perception is immensely powerful. How we choose to view things affects our interaction with and understanding of almost everything. I'm not going to go so far as to say it's all simply a matter of thinking positively but it certainly doesn't hurt. Forgiveness is a virtue. In the end, however pained I am by the woes which afflict me, succumbing to negativity only begets more suffering.
