Nine hour work day today and I didn't get done NEARLY as much as I wanted to last night.
Got suckered into having ONE DRINK and a whole lotta pointless conversation at this dive bar ten steps from my apartment with my boy John Stricker and this telemarketer friend of his.
And then, when I got home, I called Nidhug up in Oregon cuz he called me Sunday night and I didn't pick up cuz I was busy trying to fall asleep watching a movie.
Damn IT, I am going crazy waiting for the new Six Feet Under album to come out!
With each album they get better and better and excell the criteria for death metal!
Tomorrow the new Soilwork and some indie hardcore CD Jason Dinges recommended should come in.
Think I'm gonna check out the CD by that band DevilInside, who I saw open for Suffocation, and they were hella good!
Gotta do laundry tonight and read two chapters for my LAST CLASS on Thursday!
This textbook is such bullshit!
Called "Communication for Teachers" and has basically imparted on me,
"Don't yell at your students or call them stupid! Also don't sexually harass them or physically accost them."

Well,, I've got some Hammer movies to watch this week, a chapter to write (I'm on chapter 4 of my new novel, THE WORK) some Hunter S. to read and the THROWDOWN show to attend...
Other than that life has reached a new height of boredom.
Just heard that Bleeding Through, Martyr AD and Zao are all touring...
That show would make me happy!

And I conducted my first interview yesterday!
It was hella awkward cuz it was with this 16-year-old wanna be indie rocker/artsy girl and I don't think she took ANYthing seriously and was super condescending. Now, when I was 16 I KNEW I didn't have the world figured out and viewed myself, objectively, as being VERY naive and sheltered from the world.
How it is this girl thinks she's figured shit out faster than everyone else is beyond me.
Annnnyhow, I'm NOT hiring her.
NOT the brightest candle burning in the fixture.
It was kinda neat, though, when I grabbed my paperwork she was all,
"Are you my interview person?"
Dude, I fuckin' swear!
I still get carded at bars and the other month I got carded going into a RATED-R MOVIE!!!!
What the hell!!!!!!!!!
Don't I LOOK 24!!??
Oh, well!
I am SUPER stoked about this novel I'm writing and soon I will be done with it and then it's on to my 4th novel, which will begin a new series for me.
It'll be called BASEMENTLAND and might very well contain one of my best stories and have some of my most innovative characters yet.
The whole affair is pretty ominous and creepy!
We'll see.
