I'd like to blaim my lack of updates on World of Warcraft, but that wouldn't be entirely accurate. I've just been very lazy. Good thing I have an innordinate amount of clean underware after each laundry session!!!


That prof eventually did write me back. Apparently he had some family issiues which were distracting him. While he had replied to several peoples emails, he was waiting to reply tto mine for some unknown reason... Oh well, he assured me he would write me a good letter.

For my second letter, I decided to throw it all on the table, and ask the hardest member of my (ex) committee about writing me a letter. Keep in mind, I have little faith in my graduate work as 1)it took me 7.5 years, and 2) no publications as of yet. Lo and behold, this fella who I thought would write me a meh supporting letter responded with a very long letter assuring me that he will write me a STRONG (his emphasis) letter, and that he believes the difficulties I encountered only made me a better scientist.

So that was nice.

So I'm gearing up to send out my applications. Weird as it is, I'm kinda scared. I've been a student my entire life.








But enough about that, it's a snow day and I have monsters to kill!!!
