Today was my brother's 26th birthday, so I did alot of family stuff today. At some point my grandmother slipped 100 bucks into my bag with a card saying how proud she was of me, for working so hard on my thesis (one can only assume more is forthcoming when I actually graduate). It's kinda weird, from the inside looking out, a PhD doesn't seem like a big deal. But if my relative wanna give me money for avoiding the real world, that's fine with me... 
All I was supposed to get done this weekend was photoshop two quick figures, and write the abstract for my thesis. I'm doing those now. I'm not sure how I wasted 48 hours, but I did. Actually, delete that. I wasted a large portion of that time online.
