some houses burned down right around the corner last night. it was pretty fuckin crazy outside, the police had our street blocked off and there were firetrucks and news vans tearin around everywhere. it smelled like smoke all night. exciting shit happening in the hood.

fuck. our water has been shut off downtown for two days now. in the fleeting moments when it comes back on the water is brown and smells like shit. i havent bathed in two days. im going to have to drive all the way to rocky point to shower and shit. way to fuck up my day off, city of wilmington.

ugh jesus christ. why did i choose to write an episode of sanford and son for screenwriting class? needless to say, im having a bit of trouble trying to replicate the comedic genius of paul mooney and richard pryor. im such a big dummy.

what a fuckiing crazy weekend. im actually looking forward to sitting on the couch all night and reading. takin it easy, finally.
