Well it was an interesting weekend. We got to Daytona around 2:30. The race was supposed to start at 7: 00 but due to rain in started around 10:15. Mainly we just stood around and shot the shit but I did get to see a really drunk guy do a cannonball and a backstroke in a mudpuddle. I also heared "Get R Done" about 1000 times. And that's not an exagerration. Finally the race started. 175 laps. There were no pile ups but someone's car did catch on fire. But he was dragged to safety. BOOO! I'm kidding of course.
Let me backtrack a minute. The night before I told Steph that I was going to call in saying that I was suck. She asked if I was worried about getting fired. I said no because as far as they know I was sick. Well the next day while in Fla I called in and they said they all ready knew I was not going to show up because Step told them all about it. So I got fired. OVER THE PHONE. Thanks a lot Steph. I guess I know who my friends are. Oh well at least I get to keep the porn she lent me and Im going to watch it on my newl acquire 61 inch T.V. Well it's not mine but I'm still going to put it to good use.
THe job situation isn't bad though. Not at all. Instead of started on Aug. 1 Jaime is going to let me start on the 15th. So I have over a week just to sit on my ass and do whatever I want. I get to start my dream job two weeks earlier so I guess in a wierd way Steph helped me out.
