quick update because my laptop battery power is dying.
i discovered this morning that my old roommate cashed two checks i asked him to hold for a week the day after i gave them to him, thus causing me to have two overdraft fees.
i picked up a check from toby's dinner theatre on the way to work today and, low and behold, they actually pay a decent rate. therefore, i may work for them again.
i will be working my first call for atmospheric lighting on friday, which is awesome because they pay well and have more work. (but it will be after i've worked for six hours at olney theatre. the call starts at 8pm. i can only guess how long it will last. i better get a good amount of sleep beforehand. but then again, more hours = more money.)
after the anguish and rage of this morning, i find myself happily trudging along.
maybe things are getting better.
