good news and bad news:

good news- i had yesterday off and no work call for today. turns out dirk doesn't have me down for work til the end of august and no one was on the calls for those days anyway. i was quite happy to have a day off, especially considering i was tired as fuck and very grumpy.
however...
bad news- bye bye more money i've "lost." i "lost" $150 when i had tonsilitis and missed work for a week. i "loose" money when i can only work a load-in for iatse but not the load-out (because of olney). and atmo is still slow for work. according to terra, they will not be busy until september. so iatse is all i've got. and i'm really hoping they call, cause i'm desparate for money in the worst way.


the boy applied for the best buy in laurel online a day or two ago. still waiting for a reply. i think i'm gonna pull him out of bed and get applications from more places around here. i know he needs to sleep (he stays up late at night while i'm sleeping worrying about our current financial statis). but he knows we need money. everyday that goes by is another day we are digging ourselves more and more into our hole with little hope in sight of getting out unless drastic changes are made.


sorry i'm not ending on an uplifting note. there isn't very much for me to look forward to. i just hoping we can find a way to make all this shit go away, or at least get a little easier.
