these past few days have been hectic and stressful. and, of course, on my day off from Uno's i have my first training session at the Hilton.
i worked everyday from Wednasday til Sunday at Uno's and my feet hate me for that. i even worked a double sunday, missing the oscars completely (btw: does anyone know who won anything), but making about $120.
tonight i "trained" for bartending at the hotel. the work was so laid back, tho, it felt more like i was being paid to stand around and talk to people. it's a business hotel, so hardly anyone came down from their rooms to drink. i was there from 5pm til 9pm, and no more than a dozen people sat down. tips were nice, tho, especially since everyone who stays there seems to have money, but of course i got none of it. and it turns out i was scheduled to train monday thru thursday this week, but Uno's scheduled me to work tuesday night. i have to talk to them, cause this shit just will not do. i put in my updated availability (because of the new job) and they still pulled this shit.
so that's my life right now. aside from the extreme pleasure of wednesday night poker, i have no life save work and work. am i gonna burn out soon? i hope not.
