so....
tonight was kinda crazy, but i guess that was to be expected. i'll give you guys the short synopsis.
i was suppose to have three tables, but ended up with only two (one kept being combined for parties, so i never used it except once). i got almost no cash tips, which sucked, and i was stiffed once ($1.91 tip for two people, stupid teenagers). otherwise my tips were modest. i got $35 on credit cards, which comes in my check next friday.
i ended up taking home $35 more, but not cause of tips tho. i now have a standing offer to all servers that i will roll silverware or clean up their sections (sweeping, refilling sugar, salt and pepper, and wiping everything down) if i am paid $10. i ended up cleaning up two other people's sections and one extra table. this got me an extra $23, of which half went to tip outs.
so in total, i got $70 for about 6 hrs worth of real work. i ended up leaving about an hour and a half later than most, but whatevs. not that bad of a night.
i'm on again tomorrow night and i'm working a double on sunday. i hope the money keeps coming.

oh, and i'm happy to report i think i made a friend. this guy mike, another server, kept picking on me. and, at the end of the night, he decided to fart on my while i was closing my checks and punching out at the computer. his girlfriend in one of the servers on tonight, so i know it's not like that. but, i think i may have a new friend at work. yeah!
