i am so fucking tired!
so today was my first follow shift at Uno's. i followed this girl named becca. she was awesome. going into it, i thought "this will be fine. it's a monday morning, no biggie."
WRONG!!!
today was president's day, ie the kiddies are out of school so the parents take them out to the mall.
the first, first, table we had was a 12 TOP! and most of them were teenagers. it just got worst from there. it got bad enough so that becaa gave me two tables to cover by myself while she had an 11 top, a 6 top, and a 4 top. it was ridiculous, not to mention the 11 top stiffed her. one of the people at the table complained, so we gave them 50% off of everything AND the well done steak was free (cooked it wrong the first time). so what do they do? they gave a $9 tip. 9$ for 11 PEOPLE!!! WTF!?!?!
it was fucking insane.
so yeah, that was my first follow. yet again another initiation by fire. also, it kinda sucks moneywise for me as well. i worked for six hours, by it was only for minimum wage and becca couldn't tip me out. (she got too many credit card tips.)
i have another follow tomorrow for the night shift. and then i'm by myself friday and saturday night. this ought to be interesting.

of course, i haven't been there for a while, and it looks like it'll still be a while before i get there..
that being said, i hate people who are idiots and don't understand our (stupid) system and that you should tip and if you can't afford the tip then don't go out to eat.
