so tomorrow is orientation for the new job. it actually would have been yesterday, but the fates conspired for my voicemail to not receive the message from my new boss telling me this. thankfully, i ended up calling work just as they were starting, and all was resolved with her still loving me.
i'm kinda nervous but kinda overjoyed too. i want to work. i want to make lots of money and pay off my bills and not worry so much about bills and rent and rebuilding my savings.
btw: IT SUCKS HAVING REAL RESPONSIBILITIES!!!
i did my taxes yesterday, and, combining federal and state, i will be getting back about $1100, my biggest refund ever. being me, tho, i won't spend it on anything but bills. the next time i quit a job, i must remember to have one ready for me to start immediately. being mostly unemployed for a month can be fun. unforunately, it has just been kinda stressful, at times boring, and my savings is crying.
spending your days sleeping for 12hrs and watching tv gets old after awhile, believe it or not.
