work and life have gotten in the way of me updating in almost a week. sorry bout that. thankfully, i will be done with my job next wednesday, so hopefully my long lulls aways will end.
i bought my mother a computer for christmas. well, actually my mother asked me to buy her a computer for christmas and i said yes, sinking myself about $700 more in debt. family is a motherfucker.
since quite a bit of shit has happened to me lately, i felt i should condense it (n keep u from being bored). so here is the rest of my update in list form.
- last night was midnight breakfast, a gathering of all the drivers and supervisors at my job. there was breakfast food served, and driving awards were given out. funny enough, i received exemplary employee performance from my boss. kick ass!!!
being as that i work a fuck of a lot, yeah!!! thanks for the recognition.
- i went to 2/3 of the of jason mraz concert last night at the 9:30 club in DC. (yes, i know i'm a dork.) i went to the venue trying to scalp my tickets, but there were no scalpers in sight. the bouncers at the club patrol to keep them away. so, i stayed for the opening act (his girlfriend Tristan Prettyman, very hot, pretty good singer, bought the album, it's ok) and i caught the first half of his set. it was fun. he did a acoustic interlude where he sang a song yet to be released. rock on.
- saturday had fun at the SGDC meet n greet. good food. fun peeps. video games n drinking afterwards. all-in-all a good night.
- i've been working 12 hour days in anticipation of leaving my job. i will get two checks after my last day, so i want them to be huge, cause for a while i will probably be broke.
- C-Mart is the best thrift store ever. i bought a pair of Timberlands for $45.
that still seems long. whatever. i'm tired n need sleep desparately. nite nite my luvs.
