and my car was in the shop again. BUT IT"S FIXED NOW!!! sort of. I'm still concerned about the electrical problems but at least my transmission is groovy again.
time to travel to philly, northern VA for new years with the girlie and back home to the burg soon after.
So every year on christmas eve, for the last 18 years or so my family has gone to the same family friend's house for dinner. when we were children santa always came and gave the kids presents. it was a great time. it's years since any of us were young enough to santa to make an appearance and now that we're old and working (almost out of college in my case) and noting that all the bars are closed...we resorted to playing poker on christmas eve..
We played poker until 3am, drinking all the while. So i slept on their couch (i HATE drunk driving) woke up at 8am and drove home to get ready for our company in the AM. it certainly wasn't the most typical of christmas eve's but it certainly was fun. ps..i won.
