Well, it's the end of my overtime week.
I've been feeling down and out the last couple of weeks... maybe it's because i'm not used to working all these hours. But I'm making serious money so I guess I have to endure it for a few more weeks. I don't know, I've just been a little sullen, maybe because something important to me ended and I just don't want to face it... I have gotten excited about little things but it's just not the same. But hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. I'm finally going to try out my new guitar. I've got a jam session after work tomorrow (yes, I'm leaving work early, thank God!) and i'm mildly excited by it. I get to jam to some Josey Scott songs so that should cheer me up a bit. Josey is my only friend right now =(
But to be more upbeat, Billy Idol is on tour... too bad he isn't getting back together with Generation X but it's cool to see that he's touring. Maybe I'll get tickets. I'm not sure yet. If I couldn't get out of bed to see Eddie Vedder's solo tour, I kind of doubt that I'll go see Billy but you never know... I haven't seen a concert since Pearl Jam played Boston for 3 shows and played every song that they ever played. The last night was almost a 3 1/2 hour show so that was cool. I think that was in 2003 or something (when you get as old as I am, the years meld together..) It was the show that blew my socks off. Almost as cool as seeing P Funk on the 25th anniversary of the landing of the mothership. They didn't bring the whole mothership but it was cool nonetheless...

The extra money does feel good though... But it sucks cause like you said, you get used to it! And when you don't have it anymore, it sucks.
LOL! I'm trying to get Peter Murphy to be my friend too but he's getting a restraining order next week!
I love Pearl Jam... haven't been able to see their last 2 shows but I'm sure I'll get around to it...
