I use to book and promote shows in Memphis TN. So last night I get this call saying one of my most favorite bands I ever had the awesome pleasure of working with, -Flatfoot 56- is booked again in Memphis and not being promoted, and the venues wanting to cancel on them. So now I find myself 600 miles away and trying to fix this shit someone else fucked up. lol.
I just worked really hard to dispell the "Memphis sucks, don't play there" conception amongst touring bands, and if this band I love plays there again and gets treated like crap I'm gonna be uber pissed.
