Got let go from my job today. Can't prove it, but I think they did it because of my Asperger's (autism). They had asked for documentation for "reasonable accommodations" so I got the docs from my old therapist and turned them in...all 97 pages.
I can do damn near anything...it just takes me a little longer and in a different way then neurotypical people.
I can't complain too much...I got a month of severance, plus they paid for a full 10hr day today even though I was there less than an hour, plus they are paying me for the 60 hours of PTO I still had left banked.
It is just another fucking setback.
