So the visit to the grandparents wasn't so bad.. apart from Nana asking me the same question "and how is work?" about 7 times, lol, it was good to see them. Grandad is thin and pale and really sickly looking but he was in good spirits as always. Nana had a hold of Brayden (see dodgy photos - babies are hard to photgraph ), but... Read More
Alriiighty I finally went and saw my drawings today and boy, I am sooo dissappointed. She has had 2 months to come up with the design we discussed for almost half an hour, and all she has come up with were tracings of two of the drawings I had given her as examples, and a castle. And that's it...just individual tracings, all stuck together and... Read More
I'm sorry to hear about your grandparents. It hurts me to see my Great Uncle all sick and ill in hospital. He raised my mom, so he is really like a Grandfather more than anything else.
It hurts so much to see them like that. Good for you for actually going and seeing him. Lots of people wouldn't. Keep it short and sweet, it makes it easier to manage.
Sorry to hear about your drawings. I wondered how you were going today. Busy or not, you expect something after 2 months of waiting. I'm sorry doll.
You're gonna laugh your ass off... but I'm working for The Reject Shop now. New store opening in the Queen St. mall around the 17th of Nov. - 'til then I'm doing work experience at an existing store and putting the shop together.
And that really, really sucks about the tattoo drafts not even being close to done. Take your business elsewhere - these guys obviously don't need the cash that bad.
So... don't really have any exciting news. We've kinda given up looking for a housemate, and for the moment are happy to pay the extra rent for when someone particularly awesome comes along. Stu is in Tassie for a week, so I'm home alone until next Wednesday Tempted to have a party as I haven't had... Read More
It was a fun weekend! Did you go bowling? How was that?
My docs will need to become a work of art. When they die.. I don't like to see them go to the bin. This pair have seen some great shows. I have attachment issues!
Did anyone else notice that Andrew G was wearing a SG shirt on tonights episode of 'Thank God You're Here'? I dunno whether that's a good or bad thing, lol.....
I had fun last night I can't wait to do it all over again. Damn working on weekends though
Cranky Christmas customers start this weekend. The ones that piss you off to screaming/tearing hair out point. They think that by chucking a tanty in front of 10 other customers they will get their way. And sadly enough, as the... Read More
Deep breath, happy thoughts, control the rage... Christmas is hell when it comes to retail. I feel your pain - this is the time of year nearly all my stories about shitty customers originate from.
And that crazy glass, spontaneously shattering all over the place. See it all the time.
Uuuurgh. Got a yukky head cold. This is the first time EVER that I have been sick twice in a year, lol.
So the saga of my little sister continues.... Further psychiatric appointments were necessary for the doctors to work out if her partner has developed Bipolar Disorder. She has sworn to leave him in 6 weeks if he doesn''t at least take anger management... Read More
My little sister was beaten up by her ex-boyfriend a couple of times. He's damn lucky she didn't tell me before getting the police involved. I thought he was a nice guy to but now I hope he dies.
Seeing as we have noone to use the big room in our house, I decided to move my stuff in there. Not that my old room was small, but this one is heaps bigger with more windows, too, lol. It looks heaps nicer now and I discovered I have heaps more space, so when I get paid next (10 days to go yayyyyyy - I... Read More
That really great to hear that - and you're absolutely right, hopefully he'll be man enough to grow up. Six weeks is an excelent time frame too, it's plenty of time to get his head around the prospect of losing his son for the next twenty years... I'm sure he realises though, what he's in for. It's impressive too, that he agreed to psychiatry, he probably had a lot of personal pride to overcome. He has an equally hard road ahead of him, as your sister does. Change is difficult, and so is coming to terms with someone elses downfalls. I feel for her, and him, and you as well. I hope all goes well, I'm definitely thinking of ya xo
I think mink is a little different to leather, leather is a by product of eating meat, cows/beef. Mink is simply there for the fur.
Your sisters man is going into psychiatric care? That is awesome. I am so pleased for you and your sis and him. The fact that he agreed to do it is an awesome sign of him knowing he isnt right, and is more likely to get "cured" or whatnot if he knows he isnt right. So thats awesome
Yay, driving is awesome I feel like a 17 year old who just got their licence, lol. First thing I did was drive over and see my little sister and bub. I took her lunch and bought her baby clothes and I had a really nice time Tomorrow I get to drive to the other side of Brisbane for an early morning franchise meeting. I... Read More
We interviewed a really, really lovely guy last night. He's from Tans-mania (hehe) just like Stu is, BUT cos he just drove up here (this week), he still doesn't have a job. I don't know how that is going to go down with the real estate, but we figured if they will approve Stu and I on our own it shouldn't worry them.... He's willing... Read More
Okay so I'm over yesterday's little incident, I was just sooo mad at the time I felt it necessary to write it down.... I'll pass on Monday if they're nice to me, hehe. Though I am now angry cos it's costing me another $450 to fix the indicators and the window switch I am sooo broke. Not only that but stupid housemate who we kicked... Read More

Dark Tranquillity were easily EASILY in the top 5 aussie gigs ive ever seen. their live show was simply electric! the crowd was giving them so much energy and you could really tell on the faces and in the reactions of the band members that they were having a hellova time too. i ran into the bass player at the poker tables at the casino later that night too!! he was so thankful to play infront of Perth for his first australian gig, said it was one of the best small venue (ie: <1000 ppl) gigs hes played in some time.
