this sleeping bag that I bought at the naugatuck walmart is probably one of the best five investments of my life. Tonite was pretty slow at work, and I spent a few hours laying in the back of my pick-up, watching shooting stars, all comfy in the sleeping bag, while a nice cool breeze from the long island sound blew in... awesome. very relaxing, which I am in dire need of.
I really appreciate the night sky, it's just so fucking beautiful, ever changing... it's amazing, and it inspires me to be amazing. AS ABOVE, SO BELOW. magic is not some harry potter bullshit about waving wands and reciting stupid pseudo-latin phrases- magic is realizing that there are bigger things than you and me, not necessarily "god", definately not "jesus", but there are things happening above us and below us, and all around us on several different planes of existance. Magic is knowing and embracing this, and using this secret to better one self, and to better others. The night sky constantly reminds me of this...
it's amazing to me, to have worked 40 hours by tuesday night, to be strung out, stressed, overworked and under-appreciated, so far away from family and friends, and to be able to quietly enjoy the night sky and absofuckinglutely love life. fully appreciate life. as above, so below.
