Wednesday I went to the first meeting for a new Shakespeare company that somebody's putting together and, after it was over, one of the other attendees approached me. She's the director for a theatre groups called "Masque Alfresco" and one of her actors dropped out of her latest production.

So, now I'm in now in rehearsal for Moliere's "Imaginary Invalid" as Cleante ("young romantic featured role") as well as an apothecary. It'll be touring about this August and you can't beat a free play (though we will be passing the hat after the show for any that feel compelled to pay). Plus, since it's outside, you can even bring along a picnic if you want.
The performances are Saturday & Sundays from 5:00 to 6:30pm at the following locations:
