Okay, it's been over a month since my last Non-Smiley update - time to catch y'all up...
"Cheaper by the Dozen" went pretty well as a whole. A few cast members got sick (nothing we couldn't cover for) and my costume shoe hurt my arch for a few weeks, but quite successful - I've even gotten recognized at work a couple times from it.
After the reaction to my 'Girlfriend Casting Call' notice, I decided to change up tactics - I posted a sheet inquiring for slogans that I could put on a T-shirt to help put me out 'on the market' a little more. Unsurprisingly, most of the suggestions were either sex or alchol related (and, thus, not something I'd likely wear) - but not all were bad. Here's the winner:
The back says, "Romantically Naive (aka Fresh Meat)".
On of the techies gave me a Tarot reading for my love life before rehearsal one day. According to what she said, I am currently ready for love and have been expressing it - but I have been struggling internally with stabiliy. In the past I have some regret and I will be confronted with a choice (unfortunately she wasn't an expert so she was having trouble interpretting clearly) as represented by the husbandry card (she said it was also the hermit) and the despair card - but that, by virtue of the sun card (as the overall indicator of the reading) and the harmony card (as the result from my choice) that things would work out in the end.
At an after party, I ended up joining a game of "Spin the Bottle". I ended up kissing/(getting kissed by) every girl in the circle (all 4 of them) - admittedly they were just little pecks on the lips, but considering I'd never kissed a girl before at all...
"Winter's Tale" performances were pretty good - even though the production itself seemed to suffer from a mild curse (perhaps from the director's accidental utterance of the scottish play's name): lots of casting hicups, technical glitches, and script tweaks right up to the end.
At the cast party, I publicly admitted to masturbation for the first time - a few of us where answering questions from a pack of "sex question" cards. As the environment was relaxed and accepting, and I was surrounded by friends, I was able to open up.
A few of my trusted female castmates (all the ones who were also in Diviners) are going to give me a makeover at some point (we still have to figure out when). I think it could be good for me as I'm not exactly one to experiment with my appearance.
Once more I got up the gumption to ask a girl on the bus for her e-mail. As before, I didn't do it until it was just about my stop but, this time, the girl was receptive. She already had a boyfriend, but it's still a better result than I got last time.
[Update 4/2]: For those of you that missed it - for April Fools day, I changed my username to PMVirginNoMore (after briefly changing it to PMSlut) and well,
