Ok, time for an update...

ooo aaa The run of the play went pretty well, it was fun being the lead - though I'm thankful that I was allowed a scene or two to catch my breath/hydrate. It wasn't as profittable this year, partially because we didn't get as much grant money, but we had a great cast ('scept for one schlub who prone to tardiness) and was a fun experience overall.

biggrin For those that haven't seen it, here's a screen shot of my cameo on Leverage:

It's a good 5 seconds within the first 2 minutes, and by far some of my best work whatever. I did do a second day of extra work on the 'Fairy Godparent Job' (and snagged a prop 'program' for the musical), but there aren't any shots of me in it frown

I've been staying with my Grandparents for the last 2 months, thus my lack of presence here (they don't have internet there and I don't have a laptop). I've been basically acting as hospice for them as they're in that awkward stage between being able to take care of themselves and needing to go into a home. It's been nice spending time with them and, I can't lie, making $20-a-day plus room, board, and a car (their '95 olds) is a better deal than $375 a month in rent (especially when you're sans job). I just arrange with my dad so I can swing by home and check my e-mail every so often (plus I can trust him to monitor it for any acting work between visits).

eeek My 30th birthday is fast approaching and I'd like to actually DO something this year. Being wedged between X-mas and New Years is less than ideal, so most years it just drifts by with negligable fanfare. Any ideas that won't bust my savings would be appreciated.

Hope the rest of y'all are doin' alright.
Take care

Say, how was your birthday? I'm turning 30 in less than a month now.
