Time for a wee bit more news from the Life & Times of PM Virgin...
Work has been pretty steady, getting 20-30 hours a week lately. Still gettin' lots of people askin' if we have any Wii's (usually not), but I've grown accustomed to it. Our 4th key gave her 2 weeks notice last week; not generally a problem, but that does mean less back up if one of the other 3 key holders becomes unavailable.
I've been able to attend a fair number of dance classes lately - mostly Salsa, but it's all fun. I just wish the Argentine Tango classes were in the morning so I could hit them more often (I'm getting rusty at anything other than the basics).
Braces are coming along. Next appointment, I'm getting some of my brackets repositioned for the 'final approach'. Looks like they'll come off in late summer/early fall.
Not much going on in the Acting realm right now. Although, I was featured on the front page of the Oregonian a few saturdays ago - I went to a casting call for a new reality show.
I've had a few people come up to me (mostly at work) and mention they saw me in the paper. I even had the producer of 'The Marconi Show' (a radio program on KUFO) contact me through MySpace to try and get me to do an interview on Valentines Day, but I had to close the store.
The show would be a good experience for me: getting out of the NW, a few weeks without any responsibilities, getting better with the ladies (hopefully). I got a call back last week to send in a home tape (so they could have more footage to better sell me when they pitch to VH1 this week). So, if nothing else, I made it to the 2nd (last?) round of casting. I'll update this once I know more.
Later
[Update - 3/9]: Well, seeing as filming was supposed to begin today, I guess they (VH1) didn't feel like using me. Of course, the pitching production company (3Ball) said that, if I didn't get picked, they'd keep my stuff on file in case something else came up. <shrugs>
