It officially happened. I am 30. For the last six months or so I have been joking about having my "30 life crisis" - how I'm going to be like a bull in a China shop while trying to figure out what I want from life and trying not to think about the ways I wasted my 20s. It was suppose to be a joke. That is until I spent seven hours driving back from Roc to DC by myself. Over the last seven years I have found that my long drives alone can become very deep mentally when it comes to having the alone time to think. Today (or yesterday) was no exception. So I spent the ride thinking and maybe realizing I need to be better to myself and keep seeking what it is that makes me happy. I think I have put that on the back burner in the last three years and hopefully this year is the pinnacle changing point.

I still remember my 20th like yesterday and cannot believe all that has happened in such a short but long 10 years. Two degrees, living in three different states, five cities, just finishing a cruise around the world a month prior to turning 20, loving a few beautiful women, realizing I did not love a few more and still looking for "that one." Changing careers all while pushing for the most and hoping for the best. I look forward to the next 10 and all that will be seen, loved and accomplished.
