The Story of My Life...
No, I am not talking about the Social Distortion song... Anyhow, its been a while since I wrote anything here, lots ha happened since my last post, Ill tell you now that I am not going to remember it all, and as I type this I am sure that it will be really incoherent because I will jump around from topic to topic, so good luck in reading this...
Lets see.. first off.. uuh.. I told "The Dans" that I was no longer interested in playing music with them, when i told them that I thought that they were going to cry.. seriously. Theyre great guys, and they mean well.. but the music that they write just doesnt really do too much for me, I come from the punk rock background, and these guys are trying to sound like Tool or Soundgarden, or whatever other band happens to be popular at any given time.. anyhow, tahts done, and over.
The other reason that I quit playing with "The dans" is that my old band Rocket City Riot reformed, and I am once again playing bass for RCR. YAY!! This truly excites me because all the other guys are wonderful.. not only in a music sense but theyre all cool just to hang with too. RCR's music is a blend of punk and straight up, dirty, rock & roll. Kind of like if you were to mix the Ramones and AC/DC if that makes any sense at all.. My other band, Plan 15, is still going strong, I thought that I had found a drummer, it turns out that after he came and auditioned, and was accepted into the band taht he somehow vanished from the face of the earth... Drummers tend to do that.. Stupid drummers.. I have a couple more guys that are going to come and try out, one of which played in my REALLY old band about 6 years ago who I havent seen since then.. this should be cool... ALSO, the Cd is finally recorded, and now we are waiting on the mixing and mastering to be done, after that I am hoping to get it pressed sometime by the end of March.. well see.. go to www.plan15.com for more info and other shit...
What else.. oh yeah.. girls still annoy me.. well not all of you, only the ones that seem to want to date me. How is it that I attract all the loonies?? Oh well.. Actually there are a couple gals that I wouldnt mind dating at the moment, but i am too shy to actually ask anyone out at this point.. I mean really.. I havent been on an actualy date in a VERY long time... Anyone got any pointers?? LOL.. Anyhow, for those of you that care, thanks, for those of you that dont.. well.. I dont give a shit. so there. Also, if any of the girls that are my friends on here wanna go out sometime.. let me know.. haha, sorry I had to put that in there, but no.. seriously though... well.. no.. uuhh...
Did I mention that I am sleepy? Although not like that is anything new at all.. I really should learn to rest once ina while. Everyone keeps telling me that "someday all the running around will catch up to you" Well. yea.. you all are probably right about that but i will worry about it when that day finalyl does come. Life is too short not to do, or try, everything there is, might as well do things while I can right? wow listen to me being all deep and profound and whatnot.. haha. Yea, right.
What else is new.. Oh my job.. remember how I thought that I was gonna get a huge pay cut and possibly laid off and everything (see previous posts)? Well luckily none of that happened, in fact I was one of only about 3 or 4 people in the office that got a slight pay increase. Cool huh? Although with small pay incease I not am basically doing 2 jobs too... Check this out I am now a Residential Sales Estimator AND a Disaster Restoration Sales Estimator. Sounds important huh? It's not. Just alot of phone work, paper work, and dealing with Insurance companies, thats all...
Did I also tell any of you that I have no friggin' heat in my house?? HOw messed up is that?? I told my landlord about a week ago now about it, and ya know what his suggestion was: "Youd better buy some space heaters". That mother fucker (oops.. pottymouth.. sorry). I am refusing to pay him any rent until it is fixed.. You have any idea what the temperature in my house is right now?? hold on I will check.. it is a whopping 47 degrees in here.... bbbrrr.... Anyone want to let me sleep at their place for a while?? plleasee?
Wow, I think that this may be the longest entry yet? Yes? Anyhow, that is all that I have for tonight...
